Commercial Games
Sea of Thieves
Sea of Thieves is a BAFTA-winning AAA live-service action adventure developed by Rare, an XBOX studio. At Rare, I worked as Game Store Author, managing and updating the Pirate Emporium and Outpost stores, and bringing new content to over 40 million players.


Project Smore
Project Smore is the code name for a roguelike developed by Story Games, a studio of 15-25 primarily exRiot staff. As Staff Writer, I developed the IP, crafting worldbuilding, characters, and narrative systems/mechanics, as well as writing stories, quests, and transmedia scripts.


Minecraft Frontiers
Minecraft Frontiers was a live-service modded minecraft server with 1600+ players and a team of 10-15 staff. As Director of Lore, I directed a small team of writers to design items, characters, factions, quests, and extensive worldbuilding contained within a lore bible. I also designed, scripted, and implemented NPC dialogue and events in JavaScript.


Transmedia
The Forgotten King
The Forgotten King is an epic fantasy story presented here as an 11-part audio drama series. This story is just a small part of Elderon, the massive IP crafted by Story Games which I contributed to as a writer, narrative designer, and editor. Each episode is around 22 minutes.

Whiplash
A character biography and bark sheet from a hypothetical team-based hero shooter.
Canus Minicus
A character biography and bark sheet from a historical fantasy IP inspired by Ancient Rome.
Cutscenes & Dialogue
Starfall
Two short sample scenes written in screenplay format following Larry, a lonely Museum Curator dealing with his daughter's suicide.
Bargaining Chip
A group scene written in screenplay format which I wrote for a historical fantasy IP inspired by Ancient Rome.
Beertime
Three short dialogue samples which I wrote for Beertime, an indie visual novel/pub simulator with dark and distinctly British humour.
Stories & Quests
Spinster
A 10-minute Inky story wherein you play a game of cards against a mysterious stranger. Created as a writing test for Larian Studios and written in their style. Branching story with 6 endings.
Mediaeval Mangement
Five short dialogue-driven miniquests which I wrote for a mediaeval kingdom management game wherein various visitors beseech the King with unique requests.
Skyrider
A 5-minute Inky story set on the desert planet of Sikorak, a world which knows only death, dust, and desperation. Explore the harsh Vormal desert, scavenge for supplies, and discuss religion.

A page of card/spell descriptions which I wrote for a gothic horror deckbuilder.

A page of item descriptions which I wrote for a historical fantasy MMORPG.
Other projects
Scattered Stories
A collection of short, bitesize stories created using Skyrim's Creation Kit. The first story is titled "Ana and her Mountain flower" and is uncovered through reading diary entries and exploring a custom scene. This project was borne purely out of my love for Skyrim.
